Electronic Arts
Electronic Arts is de absolute grootmacht onder de uitgevers. Bovendien ontwikkelt het bedrijf zelf ook nog eens games. Het spelaanbod wat EA uitgeeft varieert van sportgames tot licentiegames en van simulatiegames tot strategiegames. Het bedrijf geeft games uit onder drie verschillende merknamen: EA Games, EA Sports en EA Sports BIG.
Onder deze merknamen brengt EA jaarlijks vele titels op de markt. De jaarlijkse omzet van Electronic Arts bedraagt bijna twee miljard euro. EA is bekend geworden van games als The Sims, Command & Conquer, FIFA, Medal of Honor, Need for Speed en Sim City. Dit is slechts een greep uit de vele titels en dus kan er gerust geconcludeerd worden dat we te maken hebben met een grote uitgever.
