FIFA 12 zal van nieuwe commentaar worden voorzien. Dit laat Electronic Arts via de officiële kanalen weten. De afgelopen jaren waren Martin Tyler en Andy Gray verantwoordelijk voor het commentaar. Vanwege het schandaal rondom Andy Gray is hier nu verandering in gekomen.
Begin dit jaar werd Andy Gray beschuldigd van sexuele intimiteiten, waardoor hij werd ontslagen bij Sky Sports. Electronic Arts hield hier vervolgens de mond over, maar komt nu met de verklaring dat Alan Smith de nieuwe sidekick van Martin Tyler wordt.
Hiernaast zullen Clive Tyldesley en Andy Townsend van ITV het commentaar van de toernooien op zich nemen.
“The natural chemistry that Martin and I have developed working live matches for TV has transferred very well to the virtual broadcast booth,” said Smith.
“I’m really looking forward to FIFA fans hearing our work this fall as we bring all the match day emotion and excitement to this year’s game.”
