Toen IndieGala als de uitgever van Die Young besloot om diens titel naar de PlayStation 4 te brengen, wist het dat het door een strengere keuring moest komen dan bij Valve het geval was. Daarom werd in de aanloop naar deze release flink aan het spel gesleuteld om problemen te verhelpen.
PC-spelers genieten hier indirect van, daar dit heeft geleid tot een nieuwe patch voor hun platform. En de patch notes van update 1.2.5. kun je hieronder vinden:
- fix for a bug that didn't trigger Good Ending (player got stuck in the final arena after killing all enemies).
- fix for a new exploit to Biofuel Refinery (allowed to collect the Fuel Can before having the Lighter, generating the Generator bug at the Radio Tower)
- fix to animations dogs / wolves / Cujo (the rotations were broken)
- fix farmer animations (animations were broken and some farmers skidded from one point to another in their paths)
- AI perception fix (enemies were stuck indefinitely if they perceived a sound from an unreachable point)
- Fix for junkie AI (remained motionless after taking a few hits)
- fix for bug in The Collector shop (deleted some items, without giving them, if bought in case of full inventory)
- fix for various graphic bugs
- various fixes in level design
