Specifiek legt men uit dat de game overgaat naar een nieuwe data structure, waarbij pakweg 70% van de code is herschreven. Dat is best een opgave als je ziet hoe kort de game op Steam staat en hoeveel hotfixes in die tijd al zijn uitgerold. Over support lijken we ons dus niet druk te hoeven maken.

Optimization
- Approximately 70% of the code has been rewritten as we’ve decided to transition to a new data structure. This was done to optimize performance and allow for future expansion of the game.
- The file system has been reworked to improve performance. This process will be rolled out gradually over 2–3 phases (patches).
- The old save system has been replaced with a new, more efficient one. We’ve worked hard to make the transition as smooth as possible: new saves will be created automatically, and existing ones will be preserved wherever possible.
- Pedestrian logic has been optimized, improving their interaction with the environment.
- FPS capping has been added to optimize GPU performance.
Bug Fixes and Improvements
- Fixed an issue where Store Managers didn’t take movement speed into account. Now, the "Action Speed" parameter affects both picking up boxes and stocking shelves.
- Fixed tax logic. Employee salaries are now included in the total tax bill. If taxes remain unpaid for 14 days, they will be automatically deducted from your account with a penalty. All tax data has been reset to ensure a smooth transition.
- Fixed bugs that prevented some Store Managers and customers from reaching the second floor.
- Adjusted shelf levels so players can place them immediately after unlocking.
- Fixed incorrect tax calculations when reloading the game (+1 day added to the tax period).
- Resolved issues related to the snowball’s improper functionality.
- Changed the delete button assignments for decor and trash to prevent accidental deletions.
New Content
- Fresh decor has been added to make your mall even more stylish!
- New shelves have been introduced for grocery stores.
- Added a feature that automatically rotates shelves to face the player for easier placement.
- A new widget has been added to the YMD Bank tablet menu.
