Voor de tweede achtereenvolgende week verovert de PS3 de eerste positie in de Japanse hardware charts. De week ervoor was Yakuza 4 de oorzaak, dit keer voornamelijk Fist of the North Star: Warriors. De game van uitgever Koei weet echter geen potten te breken op de Xbox 360.
Ook met de PSP is Sony succesvol. De handheld kreeg geen grote titels, maar weet wel de Nintendo DS en de Wii achter zich te laten.
