Frostpunk 2 is in aantocht

Aahhh, Frostpunk. Een medogenloze game waar ik al vele reviews voor heb mogen schrijven (DLC's meegerekend). De game gaat over het overleven in een post-apocalyptische omgeving waar extreme temperaturen de regie hebben genomen. In het teken van overleven moet je als baas van een stad bizarre keuzes maken, maar om te overleven moeten offers worden gebracht.

Frostpunk van ontwikkelaar 11 bit Studios werd uitstekend ontvangen en dat heeft het doen besluiten om een vervolg te produceren. Frostpunk 2 speelt zich dertig jaar na de gebeurtenissen van het eerste deel af. De ontwikkelaar, die inmiddels rond de 70 mensen in dienst heeft, wil de vele keuzes die je in het eerste deel werden opgelegd nog veel meer uitbreiden. Je zult nog meer mogelijkheden krijgen om de regie van je stad volledig naar je eigen hand te zetten.

Wanneer de game precies uitkomt, is nog niet bekend. Voorlopig is alleen de PC-versie aangekondigd.
