Bij de lancering van de Nintendo 3DS, welke op 25 maart in de winkel ligt, zullen dertien verschillende titels te koop gesteld worden. Nintendo is de hofleverancier met drie verschillende versies van Nintendogs + Cats: Golden Retriever & New Friends, French Bulldog & New Friends, Toy Poodle & New Friends. Daarnaast brengt het bedrijf ook Pilotwings Resort en Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition uit. Ook belangrijke third-party ontwikkelaars als Ubisoft en Electronic Arts zullen op 25 maart met een launchgame in de winkelrekken liggen.
