Ontwikkelaar Harmonix heeft de wereld laten weten dat het bedrijf niet ten onder gaat. Nadat Viacom en MTV Networks bekend maakte niet langer door te gaan met Harmonix, werd de toekomst van het bedrijf in twijfel getrokken. Vandaag komt aan deze twijfel dus een einde.
De ontwikkelaar die verantwoordelijk is voor Rock Band en Dance Central heeft het kunnen realiseren dat ze onafhankelijk verder gaan. Aan welk project ze nu gaan beginnen is nog niet duidelijk.

It's where we launched both Rock Band and Dance Central, worked with The Beatles, Green Day, AC/DC, The Who and thousands of other artists. "
