Het begint er steeds meer op te lijken dat Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas niet alleen speelbaar zal blijven via de PS2 Classic, maar ook als heruitgave of zelfs remaster. Er is namelijk een lijst aan trophies verschenen voor de game van Rockstar, maar over een heruitgave werd tot op heden niet gesproken.
Zowel Sony als Rockstar hebben nog niks losgelaten over het verschijnsel. Zouden de bedrijven werken aan een remaster van de game? Gezien de populaireit van het spel met CJ is het wellicht niet eens zo'n gekke gedachte. De lijst aan trophies zou overigens voor de PS3 gelden, maar het lijkt ons sterk dat de PS4 bij een eventuele remaster buiten de boot zal vallen.
