Sony heeft haar eigen Game Awards georganiseerd op het PlayStation Blog. De afgelopen tijd konden gamers stemmen op hun favorieten, waarna de balans is opgemaakt. Onder andere Resident Evil Village blijkt goed in de smaak te zijn gevallen. Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart heeft echter de hoogste ogen gegooid. De nummer één qua personages hadden we al kunnen voorspellen natuurlijk...

De hype is niet voor niets geweest: Lady Dimitrescu van Resident Evil Village is de winnares. Ze werd bij de verkiezing op de voet gevolgd door Rivet van Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart en Tenzo van Ghost of Tsushima.

Naast Lady Dimitrescu in persoon heeft ook de verhaallijn van Resident Evil Village een prijs verdiend. Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy en Kena: Bridge of Spirits zijn wat kleinere games die toch ook in de prijzen zijn gevallen.
