Far Cry 3 grote winnaar op Canadian Videogame Awards

Ubisofts tropische FPS, Far Cry 3, heeft niet minder dan zes awards gewonnen op de Canadian Videogame Awards. De Awards vonden dit weekend plaats en bekronen de beste games van Canadese makelij. Ook Mass Effect 3, Assassin’s Creed II en Mark of the Ninja vielen in de prijzen.

Far Cry 3 van ontwikkelaar Ubisoft was de grote winnaar op de Canadian Videogame Awards 2013. De First-person-shooter won zes awards, waaronder: Game of the Year, Best Animation, Beste Game Design, Best New Character (Vaas), Best Visual Arts en Futures Shop Fans’ Choice Award.

Canada is het derde grootste land van game-ontwikkelaars ter wereld. Om hun topgames en ontwikkelaars van eigen bodem die ook internationaal faam maakten te bekronen worden vanaf 2010 jaarlijks de Canadian Videogame Awards gehouden.
